Terms and Conditions

Clearance and Cleaning Ltd

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Clearance and Cleaning Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and form a binding agreement between us and the client (“you”, “your”).

By requesting our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Offered

We provide property clearance and cleaning services, including:

  • House, flat and commercial properties 

  • End-of-tenancy and deep cleans

  • Rubbish removal and item disposal

  • General cleaning for residential and commercial premises

All services are subject to availability and a confirmed booking.

2. Quotations and Bookings

  • Quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 5 days.

  • A booking is confirmed upon written acceptance or confirmation by phone/email.

  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing if additional work is required or site conditions differ from those initially described.

3. Access and Responsibilities

  • You must ensure safe and legal access to the property on the agreed date.

  • You must inform us of any hazardous materials or restricted areas in advance.

  • Items for clearance should be clearly marked, unless agreed otherwise.

4. Payments

  • Payment is due upon completion unless agreed otherwise in writing.

  • We accept bank transfers, card payments, or cash.

  • Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, plus reasonable recovery costs, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

5. Cancellations and Delays

  • You may cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled service without charge.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price.

  • If we are delayed due to lack of access or unforeseen circumstances caused by the client, additional charges may apply.

6. Waste Disposal and Recycling

  • We are licensed waste carriers and dispose of waste at approved facilities.

  • Where possible, we recycle, donate, or re-use items, but cannot guarantee this in all cases.

  • Hazardous or prohibited materials (e.g., asbestos, medical waste) will not be removed unless specifically agreed.

7. Liability

  • We are fully insured for public liability.

  • We are not liable for:

    • Pre-existing damage to property or contents

    • Loss or damage caused by inaccurate instructions or incomplete information

    • Delays or non-performance due to force majeure (events beyond our control)

8. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of completion. We will investigate and respond promptly. Any claims for damage or loss must be reported in writing within 7 days.

9. Privacy and Data

We collect and use your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the UK GDPR.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
